Spotlight On: Trapp and Company

BizYellow, from Yellow Pages United, gives you the power to customize your own web page and reach the right new customers for your business. In this feature, we focus on businesses that are making the most of everything BizYellow has to offer.

Today the spotlight is on Trapp and Company of Kansas City, MO.

Trapp and Company is a floral and interior design business, and they’ve made a beautiful arrangement in the Keywords section to ensure that users searching for a variety of related terms can blossom from wallflowers into customers.

The About section is especially impressive, packing company history, a list of services, and ample salesmanship into two short paragraphs. “Elegance and class”? “A visual experience unlike anything else in the city?” Yes, please.

On this particular BizYellow page, Custom Content is the kicker: Happy Hour Flowers! Treading into territory typically traveled by taverns (milkshake and otherwise), Trapp and Company cleverly appeal to those thirsty for a bargain.

As if Happy Hour Flowers weren’t enough of a selling point, they have also included a video of themselves “flower bombing” the residents of their community. If marketing were a marriage proposal, this thing is the bed of roses.

Wake up and smell the flowers: we do (yeah, we always do) have some suggested improvements for this page. First, we really do love the flower bomb video. Unfortunately, that’s the only visual representation of flowers on the page. Let’s see some pictures! Additionally, the aforementioned About section is very well done, but we think a more detailed description of offered services would help convince customers they came to the right place.

Trapp and Company has shown that with the right bouquet of words, BizYellow is always in bloom. We’d like to send them a figurative “congratulations” vase, and we look forward to seeing what other members of the BizYellow family can create.
